Ask the Contortionist!

Now there's flexible and then there's a little bit too bendy.
Enter the Contortionist.
With apparent ease, the Contortionist stretches herself into impossible positions. You gasp (and perhaps grimace) as you wonder quite how she does it, and then, how is she going to get out of that?

They are the utmost in flexibility, the Contortionists, and we feel , well, rigid by comparison.
Yet it never really looks like
fun
does it?

As working Mums we often find ourselves in "now get out of that" seemingly impossible positions - victims of our own flexibility. We might say "Yes" before thinking "how". We perhaps fail to say "No" when it's getting uncomfortable. We bend over backwards to make it all work.

And there is sometimes a stiff audience looking on, unbending, unyielding, unforgiving. Our bendiness fails to impress. It ceases to dazzle - and we need to find something even more uncomfortable and unlikely to see if we can, somehow, raise any reaction.
