After that we move into a 60 minute class focused on opening the chest and shoulders and bringing more clarity and ease to our back-bending postures.

What is so great about back-bending anyway? For many of us back-bending is an emotionally charged part of yoga class that we DREAD!

It is important to understand that back-bending is a completely natural range of motion for our spine. As we bend our spine backwards, we compress the posterior spinal column causing a gentle release as the spinal discs move away from the spinal nerves leading to a decompression of the front of the vertebrae. This is an extremely effective way to counteract the damage of hours spent forward bending.

2. Members or Class Pass holders must take the class with the guest they bring.
3. Class Pass Holders will have one class deducted from their Pass and their guest will be free.   
4. The guest must be new to our studio, OR has not attended class since April 30th 2015.
5. The Member or Class Pass Holder can bring one guest per class. An individual can come up to 3 times without purchase as a guest.
6. Anyone can purchase a Membership or a Class Pass on the day of and bring a guest for free to class.
