CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Level I - 60
26 postures from the 84 Classic Asanas (Bishnu Ghosh lineage), 60 minute class consisting of beginner hatha yoga poses in a heated studio. Fantastic for the beginner yoga student and an effective way to maintain general health and mental well-being.
 
Level I - 90
26 postures from the 84 Classic Asanas known worldwide as the Bikram Method.  90 minute class in a heated studio. This class is perfect for the beginner yoga student and has, for millions of people around the world, proven effective in prevention and recovery from injury. A general performance enhancement for athletes and fit minded people, this is also an excellent class for those who wish to see quick improvements to flexibility and balance. Recommended as part of many physical therapy plans. 
 
Level II - 75
A 75 minute class a warm studio and designed for the practiced-intermediate yoga student. Best for students that are confident in the Level I classes and not suitable for those that have current injuries. Experience pranayama, sun salutations and hatha flows to a faster pace.

Level III - 105
All 84 Classic Asanas of the Bishnu Ghosh lineage and just under 2 hours long. For the serious yogi, a powerful sequence of postures that is challenging on every level. Students must be confident in Level II class and pre-registration required.
 
Power Flow 60
A 60 minute class flow class in the heated studio. The heat helps warm the muscles up quickly and helps to prevent injury. A breathing exercise, sun salutations, vinyasa flows and hatha poses combine to create a dynamic class focused on improving upper-body mobility, developing core strength and improving spinal flexibility.

Hip & Core 60
Work your core and lower body like never before at yoga. A 60 minute class to help firm, tone and shape your glutes, inner thighs, hips and strengthen both the lower core. Strengthening this region improves digestion and posture as well as aids in the prevention of back injury. Practiced to music in a heated studio, this class is suitable for beginners and for all ages. It is not recommended for those who are injured. Because of the focus on lengthening the lower body, an ideal class hockey players, gymnasts, dancers, athletes, etc.
 
Therapeutic Yin Yang 60
Yin yoga directs the stimulation that is normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues. This is a 60 minute class with soothing music in a warm studio designed to release deep tension residing in the connective tissue (ligaments, bones, and joints of the body) of the hips, pelvis and lower spine.
Suitable for all levels.
 
Please arrive 10 minutes early to class if possible, 15 minutes early for your first class. Bring water, yoga mat, and 2 large towels. These items are also available for purchase and/or rent at the studio. Do your best to stay well hydrated before & after class.



AUTUMN EQUINOX CELEBRATION!



The Autumn Equinox marks a time of equilibrium; when daylight and darkness are in perfect balance with one another. It marks the beginning of a new season, and is symbolic of all that autumn signifies.

Mother Nature retreats into a meditation, she becomes inward and quiet, in hibernation, in reflection. In ancient yogic tradition, the solstices and equinoxes are sacred and auspicious days. We celebrate the change of season and all that Fall brings, by practicing 108 Salutations to the Sun so we may align and attune ourselves to the rhythms and cycles of nature.

We will enjoy many short breaks throughout. This class will challenge you, but you may be surprised by how quickly it goes, and how great you feel afterwards!
