August  2015

There is so much to share it's hard to know where to start! We are receiving the sun's energy this year,  a lot of it. Have you taken some time to nourish your soul and play outside this summer? Our team has been all over the map since the start of summer, enjoying family holidays, professional development, retreats, starting new jobs and more. We have been sneaking in as much beach time as possible with family and friends! The West Shore has fantastic beaches, great waterparks for the kids and plenty of amazing spots to explore or just lay back and relax!  We have had the pleasure of seeing transformation through personal 30 yoga challenges, unique workshops, new and visiting teachers and we have just completed our planning for the Fall! Our goal is to inspire, engage and  keep you motivated right through to Christmas!

We are beyond thrilled to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary of the studio! It's a special time and we are truly grateful for our lives, our health and our yoga community. In order to complete a thorough cleaning, maintenance and energy cleansing our studio will be closed the weekend of Sept 5th & 6th. Thank you for your understanding.

For your convenience we have large showers and change rooms, plenty of parking, and we are open 7 days a week. We've streamlined our class names and descriptions, added classes, outlined and scheduled special events for this fall.

Enjoy the rest of your summer! Love yourself, laugh at yourself, get out and enjoy the life that is yours. Come in and take class as often as you are able to keep or get fit, flexible and happy.
Best wishes to you - from all of us at BYW.

We are excited to present our final event in our Summer Workshop Series - A Touch of Yin

Ninety minutes to pamper and sooth. We will focus on releasing tension which resides in the connective tissue - ligaments, bones, and joints of the body. We will provide the opportunity to explore a deep release of the hips, pelvis and lower spine in particular.

The studio will be warm, not hot. Gentle music will play to aid in the relaxation process. Many of the postures are luxuriously long (2 to 5 minutes.) We will start with a gentle warm up and then move into Yin postures and add therapeutic touch and massage. Be transported to a new space of total relaxation, joy and contentment. Bring water, a yoga mat if you have one, and 1 large towel. Feel free to bring cushions, blocks or bolsters if you have them.

Cost: $20
