Texas Solar Energy Society Annual Meeting
January 25. 2014
1:00-3:30
Texas A&M Central Texas, Killeen

Dear Friend of TXSES,

Please join us Saturday, January 25!
For the first time ever, the TXSES Annual Meeting will take place in a community where military veterans have made a career transition to the expanding solar industry.

Topics to be presented are:
*An overview of solar energy in the State of Texas
*The success of Plano Solar Advocates and their solarize project, a group purchase program for homeowners that is gaining national attention for those interested in negotiating the price of solar installation
*From Baylor University, a project that collects production data from Texas Parks
and Wildlife solar arrays across the state to determine their efficiency, an issue important for all owners of solar installations
*The expansion of solar installations in the
Ft. Hood/Killeen Central Texas region and the veterans who are making this solar adoption happen

There will be time to chat with other solar
enthusiasts, learn what TXSES has planned for 2014, and meet our Board of Directors.
Open to members and non-members alike!

The rather difficult to read text in the art above reads:
The sunshine that falls on Texas in one month contains more energy than
all the oil that has ever been pumped in the state.
