You're invited to join Magellan Health Services of Arizona's Shared Governance Board for their bi-monthly meeting on, Wednesday, May 15, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Stand Together and Recover Centers (STAR) Avondale Site located at 605 N. Central Ave., in Avondale. Board meetings are open to the public.

At the meeting, the Board will receive an update from STAR CEO, Suzanne Legander, who will cover their key initiatives and organizational goals. The Board will also discuss updates on Magellan Health Services of Arizona key initiatives and strategies.

We encourage attendance from provider staff, recipients, family members and the community. This is a great opportunity to observe the Board in action and learn more about what is happening in central Arizona's behavioral health system of care.

In addition, Board meetings also provide those in attendance with the chance to provide input and ask questions during the public comment portion of the meeting. There is a two-minute speaking limit to ensure everyone who wishes to speak has the opportunity to ask questions or provide comments (please review the Governance Board FAQ for more details).
