Eileen and John
Two of CAMTA's Founding Members Retire from CAMTA Missions
Founding Members Anesthetist Dr. John Lilley and his wife Eileen Guilfoyle, retired pediatric O.R. nurse, have decided to hang up their scrubs.  John and Eileen have worked on all 14 CAMTA missions.

CAMTA simply would not be what it is today without John & Eileen. Eileen's energy is felt in every corner of the hospital, while John's vision and leadership have always been a driving force behind CAMTA's success. Together they have strived to make each mission special for every team member, and in turn these CAMTA founders have helped make the organization the remarkable family it is today.

As their roles in the mission and time on the ground in Quito begin to decrease, there isn't a single part of the organization that will not feel their absence. And, most certainly, there's not a single member who won't deeply miss their profound passion and energy for CAMTA's mission.
CAMTA still has openings for Team 2015

Our two teams for Mission 2015 are nearly complete - only two more spots to fill in Week 1, February 20 to March 2, 2015. We are looking for:

  1. a Spanish/English translator and
  2. an Adult Ward Nurse or a Student Nurse (English speaking is fine!)

If you, or someone you know is qualified and would be interested in traveling with CAMTA to Quito in February/March, please contact Barb Moreau immediately.

We LOVE our donors - small and large!
Over the years, CAMTA has been able to expand the Mission because of the generosity of our donors. EVERY donation is important to CAMTA. EVERY donation gets us closer to raising the $400,000 needed for Mission 2015. If you've supported a friend or a co-worker this year - THANK YOU

If you'd still like to donate to a specific team member, click here to find your friend's fundraising page. If you want to contribute to our general funds, you can donate here. Did you know that you can double the impact of your gift through matching gift programs? Be sure to check with your employer to see if they will match your donation to CAMTA.

We are also grateful to the organizations who sponsor events to raise awareness and funds for CAMTA. Several Rotary Clubs have been long time CAMTA supporters. We recently received donations from the St. Albert Saint City Rotary Club and the Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Club. If you are a Rotary Club member and would like CAMTA to make a presentation to your Club, please email us at info@camta.com

Each and every donation changes a life! Help make a difference!

One of the real joys this holiday season is the opportunity to say thank you and wish people the very best for the new year.
We wish all of our volunteers, supporters, donors and fans -
the joy of family,
the gift of friends,
and the best of everything in 2015!

PLEASE DONATE
