Dear AISK Families,

The American International School of Kingston (AISK) takes a personalized approach to learning.  Therefore, it is the goal of AISK that our students, who enroll in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), the various IB Courses, or the regular AISK High School Diploma, complete their studies successfully, graduate, and attend the finest colleges and universities, worldwide.

It is critical that all stakeholders (parents, students, faculty) understand the guidelines to ensure such success.

One of the most important stages for Grade 10 students is the next step in planning for their final two years of High School. It is therefore important to be proactive in choosing subjects, equipped with the correct information and guided by both parents and AISK faculty. To assist with this process, we would like to invite all 10th Grade parents to a faculty presentation. The presentation will provide information about the IB Diploma program and the AISK options for subject choices for Grade 11, so the students can adequately prepare for their next academic year. This information will be valuable for parents and students as they go through the process of discussing their academic choices.

This presentation will take place on Monday, 24 February 2014, from 6:00p.m to 7:30pm in the Media Center.  There will be a general presentation and this will follow with an opportunity for parents and students to view displays for each subject area and speak with teachers.

We look forward to seeing you there.

IB Diploma Coordinator
