INTERNET SAFETY FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS
It's important for parents to be aware of what your children are exposed to on the Internet, who they interact with, and what they share about themselves online. Please read this document on AISK Internet Safety and discuss with your children.
NEW CANTEEN PROVIDER - Beginning the first day back in January, AISK will have a new provider for the school's canteen, Patsy Lyn Caterers. Payments will be cash, credit or debit. The card system previously used is no longer in place. According to the contract with the new provider, outside food vendors/sources may not deliver to campus unless there is permission from the Head of School for special events. Lunches from home are welcomed.

Dear AISK Families,
Exams
Semester 1 exams will be held on January 15 - 17, 2014. These exams are for Grades 8 through 12. Grades 6 & 7 students will continue with their regular schedule during this time. The timing is in line with the end of 2nd Quarter and Semester 1.
Please see the schedule for the exams attached. It is important for families to know that exams end on each of these days at 12:45pm and students are expected to leave campus no later than 1:00pm. They should use these afternoons to prepare for their exams on the following day.
Please note that Semester 1 grades incorporate Quarter grades and the Exam grade and it is the final Semester grade that is placed on the students' transcripts.
JCDC Award Ceremony
The JCDC will be giving out the awards and medals to all artists at the Conference center in downtown Kingston. The ceremony will take place on Sunday Dec. 22nd at 3:00pm. Students who received awards need to make every effort to be there to receive their award/medal. AISK has excelled and we want to be sure that students are all there to accept this honor of being named top school.
Remind your friends and family that this is open to the public so that they may come and support you and the AISK.
Additionally, this excellent exhibition continues throughout this week. So please pass by at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Susan Canobie MS/HS Principal
