Dear Families of Middle/High School,

Please find below a schedule of AISK teachers who are available to assist with tutoring and academic support.  Unless otherwise specified, these classes are being run after school. The times highlighted in yellow indicate when the teachers are available.

Whilst some teachers are involved in our After School Activities program, they all make themselves available to students.  Some differentiate sessions to specific grade levels, however even if a session is dedicated to a specific grade, students outside of that grade may also request help.

Please be encouraged to contact any of our teachers if you have concerns or would like academic or emotional support for your child.

Sincerely,

Susan Canobie

Dear AISK Families,

Football Fixtures

Next week AISK will be involved in the following matches:

AISK under 13 boys will play against Our Lady of the Angels on Monday October 14, at 3:00pm.

Middle/High School girls will play against Immaculate Conception High School on Tuesday October 15, at 3:10pm.

Both games will be played at AISK.  Please come out and support our teams.

Sportsfeva participants

Our annual sporting event "Sportfeva" is coming up in November ( more news on that later on as the plans evolve).  We are trying to expand our gymnastics, golfing and skeete teams and would like to know if there any students who would like to participate this year. If you are interested,  please contact Mr Ransom.

Could you ask parents if there are any gymnasts out there that could compete for AISK in tumble feva, please see Keisha La Beach as we are trying to expand our team. Also if there are any experienced clay shooters or golfers who have not represented AISK at SportFeva before, please make yourself known to Mr Ransom.

AISK Synchro Swim Team

AISK's syncho swim team recently participated in the Jamaican International Synchronized Swimming Star Competition at the National Stadium.  A newcomer to AISK, Christine O'Brien captured a second place spot in the solo competition; and our duets Alex Loughlin and Brittany Durrant; and Alexa Legault and Phillipa Ryan earned a triumphant second, giving AISK a 2nd place overall!  Congratulations to our syncho 'stars'!

Sincerely,

Brad Ransom

  PTO MESSAGE

Our annual Jamaica Day celebrations will be next Thursday 17 October,  at 10:00am. At this event, the PTO traditionally sells fresh and delicious Jamaican fare and we need about 25 parent volunteers to assist with set up, selling and clean up. We only need a few hours of your time (anytime from 8:00am to 1:00pm),  as we plan to do a rotation of duties.

Please come out and support this wonderful event preceding the 4 day break.

If you would like to volunteer, please send a note to Cynthia Hanworth      at phanwort@aol.com.

Many thanks,

AISK PTO
