yellow-bday-cake.jpg Greetings!

Ok, It is hot, hot, hot!!  Staying indoors in our cool homes will give us time to clean out closets--NOT!  Instead, let's get back to the sewing machine and stitch up something new.  Fall is just around the corner. Take a look at our new schedule and come take a class.

It is Happy Birthday to the Sewing School.  We have been teaching classes for 20, yes that is right, 20 years!  I could not have done this without my wonderful teachers, Debbie Helou and Nancy Hagans, and my friend/assistant Kim Finley!  I cannot leave out my daughters.  Aimee has been teaching and giving private lessons but most of all she has been my "tech" support.  Sara has taken many classes and her input into pattern choices and new ideas has been invaluable.  My friend/accountant, Bob West has kept me in line and taught me the intricatsies of quickbooks and balance sheets. As you see, I could never have done this without my friends and the many students that I now call friends.  Without all of the encouragement, help and advice, I could never have started the school and continued for all these years. Thanks to all of you.

We will be celebrating our 20 years at our Open House, Sunday, September 25th, from 3:00-5:00.  Please come by for a piece of birthday cake and see out student works that have just come back from the Tennessee State Fair.

Hugs,                                                 Open House
