1.  Public Comments: Revised Section 8 Renewal Policy Guide. HUD posted guidance for renewing expiring Section 8 contracts in the draft revised Section 8 Renewal Policy Guide. Public comments that identify the section number, page, and paragraph number are due April 30, 2014.

2.  HUD released documents related to the Proposed HUD FY15 Budget

3.  The Council of Large Public Housing Authorities released a FY15 comparative funding chart and     

4.  Lauren M. Lyon-Collis will be speaking at the Eastern Lenders Association Conference on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 9:00am-10:15am in Baltimore, MD, on the topic of using FHA-insured financing with the RAD program.

  

5.  March 4th: The Wall Street Journal highlighted the efforts of R&C client, the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO), to deconcentrate poverty through its redevelopment of all of its traditional public housing, including the conversion of the 23-acre Iberville public housing project into an 880-unit mixed-income property.
