News of Note:

1. Hurricane Sandy Second Round of CDBG Disaster Recovery Funding - $5.1 billion allocation.

2.  HUD and DOT's Location Affordability Portal can be used to calculate the cost of housing and transportation in various locations.

3. HUD's Qualified Census Tracts and Difficult Development Areas: Includes information on 2014 metropolitan and non-metropolitan designated development areas (DDAs) for Housing Credit projects, which are eligible to receive up to a 30 percent higher Housing Credit allocation.

4. Subsidy Processing for CY2014: HUD posted a revised submission schedule.

5. HUD 2013 HOME Final Rule Webcasts provide information on the HOME Program requirements. Questions about the HOME Final Rule can be submitted to OneCPD Ask a Question. (On "Step 2", select HOME: HOME Investment Partnerships Program under the "My question is related to" field).
