1.  The Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013: Overview of Applicability to HUD Programs Notice lists key changes made by this statute and the HUD programs covered by this statute, provides an overview of key provisions applicable to HUD programs, and advises of HUD's plans to issue rules or guidance on this new law.

2.  See HUD's Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Inventory Assessment Tool (excel document), which can be used by PHAs in making a first-level assessment of properties in their inventory for potential conversion of assistance from public housing to long-term Section 8 contracts under RAD.

3.  PIH Notice 2013-20 on processing requests for regulatory waivers through appropriate field offices updates PIH Notice 2009-41, which provided instructions for submitting requests for regulatory waivers in compliance with the HUD Reform Act of 1989.

Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) Housing Commission Public Forums: HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan and members of Congress, as well as leading housing experts, will join members of the
BPC Housing Commission to discuss the state of the housing market, current market trends,
affordable rental housing, rural housing, and the housing finance system's reform. Each forum will highlight the local and national impact of the commission's
report on Housing America's Future: New Directions for National Policy.  Registration is complimentary and open to the public. RSVP to attend the events in person or via webcast.
