1. HUD issued the proposed Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) rule, through which
HUD proposes to provide
HUD funding recipients with more effective means to
further the purposes and policies of the Fair Housing Act, promoting inclusive communities.     

2. Second Component conversions for the RAD demonstration sunset on September 30, 2013.   

The "triggering event" and conversion request submissions must both occur by September 30th.  

Per the RAD Notice, prospective Rent Supp and RAP conversion requests, including all the  

required tenant consultation information, must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the  

triggering event--by August 2nd, 2013.   

 

3. HUD's RAD Webcast: "Expanded Flexibilities for RAD" from July 11, 2013.
