 News of Note: 

 

 1.  Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Closeout Requirements and Recapture.  This notice

 describes closeout requirements that apply to grantees receiving NSP1, NSP2 and NSP3 grants.

 

 2.  For those seeking to finance the development or refinance existing loans for nursing homes and assisted

 living facilities, the much anticipated revisions to the section 232 documents proposing revisions to

 closing documents for Healthcare Facilities (not Hospitals) were released today in this notice. Comments

 regarding these revisions are due December 21st, 2012.

 

3.  Policy for Amended and Restated Use Agreement for Multifamily Projects Subject to the Low-Income

Housing Preservation and Resident Homeownership Act of 1990 (LIHPRHA) This notice explains the

circumstances under which a Use Amendment for a LIHPRHA property may be amended, the amendments

 that are allowed and the conditions that must be met to be considered for approval. 

 

4.  PIH 2012-48 (HA) provides information to PHAs regarding the ramifications of the repeal of Section 9(k)

of the United States Housing Act of 1937 on Presidentially and non-Presidentially declared

natural disasters.
