44th Edition: 10/29/12-11/2/12
The Reno & Cavanaugh Housing Notices Newsletter contains weekly notices,
proposed rules and relevant information on HUD policy and regulations. For more
information, please visit www.renocavanaugh.com and R&C's Housing Policy
Group's webpage.
News of Note:
1. HUD released a memo on the due dates and submission schedule for closing mixed-finance transactions by December 31, 2012.
2. The NAHRO National Conference & Exhibition was a great success. R&C attorneys led panels on resolving operational concerns in mixed-finance developments, navigating the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, accessing FHA Financing, how to make the most of a Project-Based Voucher Program, and a case study on Nashville's Rolling Mill Hill redevelopment neighborhood. Sarah Molseed also led a similar project-based voucher panel at the Housing and Development Law Institute's fall meeting, which was held concurrently with the NAHRO conference. If you missed these panels, do not hesitate to contact Julie S. McGovern for more information.
