News of Note:
1. The following are two Rural Housing Funding Opportunities:
- Please see application information for FY2012 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Section 514 Farm Labor Housing (FLH) Loans and Section 516 FLH Grants for off-farm FLH units and related facilities and for the purchase and substantial rehabilitation of an existing non-FLH property.
- FY2012 Section 515 Multi-Family Housing (MFH) Preservation Revolving Loan Fund Demonstration Program has additional funding available (carried over from remaining funds from previously-announced notice 76 FR 52305) to implement a demonstration program to provide revolving loans for the preservation and revitalization of low-income MFH.
2. Mixed-Finance Training! Join us in San Francisco July 27th and 28th for "Beyond the Basics: Mixed-Finance Development for Public Housing Authorities", an informational session led by Sarah Molseed in conjunction with the NAHRO Summer Conference (July 29th-31st).
