News of Note:

 

1.  Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Final Notice to be Released Mid-July.

  • The final notice will include changes made in response to public comments requested in PIH 2012-18 of the initial notice.
  • The initial application period will allow owners 90 days to apply.
  • Revised rules will allow owners of Rent Supp, RAP, and Mod Rehab properties with an interest in participating in RAD's second component to apply immediately.

2. Mixed-Finance Training! Join us in San Francisco July 27th and 28th for "Beyond the Basics: Mixed-Finance Development for Public Housing Authorities", an informational session led by Sarah Molseed in conjunction with the NAHRO Summer Conference (July 29th-31st).
