One amendment for FY13 Agriculture Appropriations increases the Section 521 Rural Rental Assistance Program by $1.5M from funds offset from the U.S. Forest Service. Notable to the THUD bill, the appropriations committee denied by voice vote an amendment by Rep. Flake (R-AZ) to cut $200M from the HOME program.

3. Public Housing Operating Subsidy Eligibility Calculations for CY2013. HUD issued notice PIH 2012-30 which contains instructions for calculating a PHA's eligibility for operating subsidy in CY2013 in anticipation of Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2013 appropriations.
