 Alumni Survey
Response to the Alumni Survey is encouraging; the data from more than 300 DSC alums clearly indicates that the association has attracted interest and we look forward to incorporating the ideas and recommendations for events such as continuing education and networking opportunities.

 Commencement 2015
DSC President Thomas LoBasso urged members of the3,500-strong Class of 2015 to dedicate themselves to lifelong learning, as he spoke in dual commencement ceremonies held May 18 at the Ocean Center. >>>

Big news and lots of it! Dr. Thomas LoBasso has been appointed as the college's seventh president. The 2015-16 budget year starts off with no tuition hike for our students (great news) and the promise of a two percent  reduction in tuition in spring of 2016 (awesome news). In addition, men's and women's soccer athletic programs will be added by fall 2016, and the college received funding for the new Student Services / Classroom / Workforce Transition Building.

A Night at the Museum - Sept. 9
In conjunction with the Alumni Focus exhibition at the Southeast Museum of Photography, the association's first social/networking activity will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9. Featuring a ticketed reception at 6 p.m. for DSC Alumni and Friends, followed by a panel presentation and public reception. Ticket information >>>

Concert to benefit student scholarships
The Edge Effect are a powerhouse quintet of All-Star vocalists who have come together to create a new and exciting sound. For one night only, Edge Effect will be playing at the DSC News-Journal Center on Friday, Sept. 18 - concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Get your tickets today - only $8 per person or $15 for two - proceeds benefit student scholarships.

Brick campaign winner announced
More than 20 alums paved the way for future generations of DSC students with the purchase of custom inscribed bricks that will be installed in the  ECHO Plaza on the Daytona Beach Campus. Crystal Merick (pictured right with Alumni Associate Board Chair, Suzette Cameron) is the recipient of the two night stay generously donated by the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort/Ocean Walk Village in support of the giving campaign that concluded June 30. Raffle Winner
Heather Dewey, the winner of our Alumni Spirit Basket that was raffled off during Commencement. Heather is one of DSC's first BSN grads, and is a nurse in the mother-baby unit at Halifax. Congratulations Heather!
