Music recording executive, race car owner and philanthropist Mike Curb has generously given his name to the formerly named School of Music, Entertainment and Art at Daytona State College. It is through his generous philanthropic gift that the school has been renamed, "The Mike Curb College of Music, Entertainment and Art."
Join us as we take an hour-long look into how Mike Curb got started as an entrepreneur.
An Evening with Mike Curb at 6 p.m. on WDSC-TV 15.
Hosted by Jake Niceley, assistant chair, Mike Curb College of Music, Entertainment and Art, Mike Curb also discusses topics that range from:
- education
- racing
- politics
- music
- entrepreneurial concepts
- philanthropy
- future prospects in the music industry
The endowment at Daytona State College will provide the students with equipment, materials, and scholarship opportunities that might not otherwise be available. Daytona State College, now stands among other prestigious schools including Vanderbilt, Baylor, and Belmont Universities by sharing in Mike Curb's commitment to supporting the future of the arts and entertainment industry.
