 One of Tennessee Williams' most poignant plays, Summer and Smoke is a provocative love story about a spinster, Alma, who is infatuated with her handsome neighbor, Dr. John Buchanan. Eventually, Alma finds herself pitted against John's sensuous, reckless nature. They engage in an emotional battle of wills and their struggle between body and soul, anarchy and order, and lust and love leads to profound changes in both their lives.
Free to Daytona State College and Volusia and Flagler county students, all others $8 per person or $15 for two.
