Presented by the Small Business Development Center at Daytona State College, learn more about Jean Newell during a presentation of the Entrepreneurial Speaker Series. Boomerpreneur, Jean Newell is a prime example of how to reinvent yourself in these challenging financial times. She is a national speaker, author and consultant. Started Newco Enterprises, a manufacturing and marketing company specializing in her product, a line of wearable organizer bags called PUPs (acronym for personal utility pouch) which have been featured on QVC, and in major department store chains, boutiques and gift catalogs. Free. Registration required.

Step it Up with a power-packed day as Florida-based speakers and panelists share their first-hand knowledge of how to launch and grow a successful business. Optimize your professional development with opportunities to connect, be inspired and be informed. Limited Seating, Register Now! $55 per person includes Speaker Sessions, Business Expo, Continental Breakfast and Lunch (funds raised support scholarships for the Center for Women and Men). The first 50 people to register for the symposium will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of 10 PUPs (the Personal Utility Pouch is a wearable organizer bag donated by "boomerpreneur" and guest speaker, Jean Newell).
