From the Movies to Broadway | |

News-Journal Center at Daytona State College, Davidson Theater 221 N. Beach Street, Daytona Beach
Enjoy some of our best loved melodies from stage and screen played by the sixty-five piece Daytona Sate College Community Symphonic Band.
The program features movie music including Pirates of the Caribbean and from the Broadway Stage, The Producers and The Lion King. We will also feature two of our outstanding student singers, Coral Pitter, soprano and David Osorio, tenor singing "Time to Say Goodbye" made famous by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman.

Fall Open House - Flagler/Palm Coast | |
Anyone interested in exploring a college education, advancing their career or re-tooling for a new job should make plans to attend a Fall Open House during October at Daytona State College.
Tuesday, Oct. 16, 5-7 p.m.
Flagler/Palm Coast Campus Academic Hall (Bldg. 2), Rm. 106 3000 Palm Coast Parkway S.E., Palm Coast Visitors can speak with college representatives about programs offered at Daytona State, including the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, associate of arts, associate of science, and certificate programs. Financial Aid experts will also be on hand. In addition, there will be a Dual Enrollment presentation for students who would like to get started on college while still in high school. Refreshments will be provided and each Open House presents an opportunity to win a $500 Daytona State scholarship (must be present to win, drawings will be made at 5:45 p.m.) sponsored by the Daytona State College Foundation.

For those who have already earned an associate degree, it's time to enroll in Daytona State's Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management program now offered at the Deltona Campus. Visitors can learn more during an information session scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. |
