What people are saying...
Laura had a huge impact on my office organization and paper flow. She was very thorough, clearly explained what she was doing and what was next. The office staff loved her as well. If you need organizing, don't think twice about it. I highly recommend Laura Ray.

 BEFORE Laura Ray Organizing
 AFTER Laura Ray Organizing

Here's the situation: Toys, books and office supplies had no "home" and the systems to help get organized were not working. Client: Entrepreneur and mom of 2 young boys How solved:- Grouped like items and purged the excess.
- Created separate "zones" for each of the room's functions: playroom, home office, and storage.
- Assigned "homes" for every item in each zone.
- Determined systems to keep the zones organized.
Organizing tip if you have the same issue: Decide what functions you would like to accomplish in your room. Then, group all items for that function together to see how much space you will need for that particular "zone." A zone can be as small as an assigned shelf on a storage unit or an entire corner or closet in a room. If the entire room is storage, create zones for different types of storage: mementos, clothes, holiday decor, etc.

Get the "junk out of the trunk"
|
Today, vehicles are used for much more than getting from
Point A to Point B, so it's no wonder they get messy. Follow these tips to
make--and k eep--your car tidy.
1) Run errands with ease
Put a crate in your back seat or
trunk for clothing that needs to go to the tailor or dry cleaners. You can also
add purchases that need to be returned to stores, library books, movie rentals, and loaned items that need to find its rightful owners. Take a peek
in the box each morning and see what you can get rid of that day. 2) Take notes
Brilliant ideas have a way of sneaking
up on us. Make sure you don't forget them by stashing a small notebook and pen to catch
those moments. Or, to keep your eyes on the road, tote a mini-recorder. 3) Create an on-the-go filing system Whether you run your office out of
your car, or just need to have lots of information at your fingertips, create a
filing system. Your local office supply store has a variety of portable, lidded
file boxes to choose from, or use a simple plastic crate. Label hanging file
folders with broad categories, and slide important papers in the correct spots.
