Hello February!
Well there's just no avoiding it-- Valentines merch has been on retail shelves since 2015. February 14 is the cause of anxiety and disappointment for too many seeking that "one perfect romantic day." Last year, I decided not to stake all of my happiness on "one perfect Christmas Day." Instead, I focused on sprinkling some Christmas spirit on each and every dark December day. As a result, I enjoyed the entire holiday season much more than I have in a long time!
So, I'll approach February as I did December, by trying to warm at least one heart on each of the next 29 winter-y days. Officially, Random Acts of Kindness Week is from 2/14-2/20, but I'll be celebrating it all month long. Join me, won't you?
Because... In the end, the love you take is... (insert Beatles lyric here ;-)
Peace, ☮
