Although the Newport Folk Festival is already sold out, you can easily attend the New Bedford Folk Festival from 7/4-7/5 with Tom Rush, Patty Larkin, Boxcar Lilies and many more. At time of press, the Zeiterion Theatre (also in New Bedford) still has tickets available for David Crosby's, solo acoustic show on 7/6.
 The 7th Newport Bridge Festival from 7/27-7/30 seeks to "connect music and arts with the Newport community by presenting free or affordable concerts to the public." Events & Venues include: Motif Magazine Rock Stage at Jimmy's Saloon (daily at 8pm), Celebrating Jazz at Queen Anne Square (daily at 6pm) Music Education at Redwood Library (free events daily), Classical Music at St. Matthew's Church, Jamestown (daily at 7pm) Yoga & Music (free classes daily), Busking at Bowen's Wharf (daily 6pm-10pm), Arts & Fine Crafts Fair at Trinity Church (daily 11am-7pm). The month the Narrow's Center for the Arts features Alejandro Escovedo on 7/9, Marcia Ball on 7/10, Dale Watson on 7/17, Joe Fletcher & Friends on 7/18, Walter "Wolfman" Washington on 7/24 and Hal Ketchum on 7/30. The Narrow's Block-A-Palooza will be on 7/22 with Anders Osborne and Johnny Hoy & the Bluefish. Norey's on Broadway will host the Jack Grace Band on 7/29.
