Happy July!

Keeping it brief as I prepare for my annual pilgrimage to Richard Thompson's Frets & Refrains Acoustic Guitar & Songwriting Camp this week... but never fear I have mixed up this quick batch of lemonade with plenty of links to music, sailing, films and fireworks for you to enjoy close to home this month.

Peace out 'til August!

Grey Gardens
newportFILM has several interesting offerings this month including two Maysles documentaries. One of particular local interest is Gray Gardens, on 7/15, which captures the quirky home life of two very eccentric Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis cousins at their Hamptons home in 1975. Other screenings include Sunshine Superman on 7/2, Meru on 7/9, Iris on 7/16, The Diplomat on 7/23 and What Happened, Miss Simone? on 7/30.
