Welcome September,
Ideally, this month we'll get our island back (from the tourists) and the weather will remain fine for many more outdoor activities in the weeks ahead--here's hoping anyway! Just in case, I've included a number of good indoor options for you below.
Enjoy! SallyAnne_/)
and if you please...

hear in rhode island
Am I the last person to learn about Hear in Rhode Island? Just in case I'm not, here's the scoop... Hear In Rhode Island, a registered 501(c)(3) organization was formed to encourage and foster the composition of original music by Rhode Islander performers and songwriters and to provide performance opportunities for these artists. (RIGHT ON!) From their website: "There are many, many great singer / songwriters / bands and music makers in this state. Go hear some LIVE, local, original music!" HEAR, HEAR! I couldn't agree more-- check out their website for more information on how they put their mission to music!

run along
On 9/14 join the Women's Run 2nd Annual Sanity Chase at Fort Adams. This year's event adds a 4.4 mile timed road race to the obstacle course activities that include paddle boarding, rock climbing, hula hooping and tricycle racing! There is also a co-ed option to run or walk at the 3rd Annual StarRide 14, also scheduled for 9/14. The following weekend tour our beautiful coastline on two wheels at the Four Bridges Ride on 9/21. Have fun!
