Dear Friends,
For more than 5 years I have been pouring fresh lemonade for you each month featuring good news free of advertising, without asking anything in return other than that you read, enjoy and share. This month I'm asking for something in return...
When was the last time you supported a local artist or musician? I mean really supported with your wallet? For less than the cost 2 or 3 designer coffees, you can purchasing an original piece of art that is the product of a genuine heartfelt creative effort. This is what I'm asking you to do now-- please read on and consider making a small but MEANINGFUL purchase of music or photography TODAY. It will mean more than you know to those who are pouring their hearts and souls into work that adds much-needed beauty to this world-- and you will enjoy it too!
Thank You! SallyAnne_/)
and if you please...

Scott Miller, Hymn for Her and local boys Honky Tonk Knights round out the country-rock flavored day-long festival on 8/31. Proceeds from this event support the preservation of our beautiful Rose Island Lighthouse-- ye-haw! Newport Rocks the Fort features Rick Derringer on 8/29.
