Earlier this week, the Lady Broncos defeated Marietta in the second round of tennis state playoffs, placing them in the State Championship Elite 8. On Friday, they will take on Norcross for a chance at the Final 4.

Milestone End-of-Course Testing 
Testing begins on Monday, May 2, and runs through May 17. Attendance is vital during this testing period. Please avoid absences.

STEAM Applications for Sophomores/Juniors
Interested in learning more about STEAM but couldn't attend this week's meeting? Please visit our webpage to view the presentation and download an application. The deadline to apply is Monday, May 2. 


BHS Will Participate in Local Shark Tank.
Wednesday, May 4, 2:30-5:30 p.m. at Snellville City Hall. Ten Broncos from our Integrated Entrepreneurship Program will pitch student businesses to a jury of local professionals for a chance to earn all or part of a $2,500 venture fund. 

AP Exams are scheduled May 2-13. Check the official and complete list of exam dates.

Elect a New Parent Rep to our School Council.
Submit nominations to our main office, from May 2 to May 10. Voting will take place on May 12. See more information about the position and process.


All Media Center Books are Due May 2.
Pay For Lost/Damaged Textbooks Before Finals.
Students must pay for lost or damaged textbooks. Without payment, students will not be allowed to take final exams as scheduled. Make payments at any grade level office with the exact cash amount or a money order to BHS. Questions? See Ms. Bifaro in F-24.

GGC Dual Enrollment Deadline is May 2.
Participants in the Move On When Ready dual enrollment program with Georgia Gwinnett College must complete applications and submit participant agreements online by May 2. The date on the college's website is incorrect. Apply now.

Senior Picnic is Friday, May 6.
Seniors who have paid their graduation fees will receive admission wrist bands during 3rd period to attend during periods 5-7. Food, music and attractions will be set up at the football practice field.  

Senior Honors Night is Monday, May 9, 7 p.m. at Canon Church.  

Project Graduation Lock-in at Dave & Busters.
Tickets $65 on MyPaymentsPlus under the PTSA section. The event is May 25, 11:30 p.m. through 5 a.m. the next day. See details.

Friday and Saturday, April 29-30, 7 p.m. in BHS Theater.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Sing along with the Oompa-Loompas, and marvel at how Charlie and Grandpa Joe fly 13 feet in the air. This show is a classic and fit for all ages. 
Tickets are $10 at the door.

* Chorus Spring Show
 
Thursday and Friday, 
May 5 and 6, 7 p.m. in BHS Theater. All five of BHS choruses will perform along with 30 soloists and small groups. The theme: emotions and feelings. Tickets: $5.

FREE Festival for Special Needs Children
Saturday, April 30, 12-3 p.m. Our BOSS Club (Chick-fil-A Leader Academy) will host a festival on the Brookwood practice field for families with children with special needs of all ages. Enjoy games and booths adapted for these extraordinary children. Event sponsor, Chick-fil-A, will be selling boxed lunches.
