Brookwood Science Olympiad has held the state championship title since 2011. Academics and Administration

Lost or Damaged Textbooks
Friday, April 29, is the last day for students to pay by check for a lost or damaged textbook. Payment after April 29 must be made in cash (exact amount) or with a money order payable to BHS. Without payment, students will not be allowed to take final exams on regularly scheduled days. See Ms. Bifaro in F24 with questions or concerns.

STEAM Applications for Sophomores/Juniors
Interested in learning more about STEAM but couldn't attend this week's meeting? Please visit our webpage to view the presentation and download an application. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 29.

MOWR - Dual Enrollment
Monday, April 25, is the last chance to schedule a Move 0n When Ready (MOWR) pre-advisement meeting. Visit the Counseling Office to sign up. Turn in all documents by May 1 for approval.

Senior Class News 

AP Scholar Pizza Party 
After School on April 26.
Seniors deemed AP Scholars are invited to the Gold Gym on Tuesday, April 26, to pick up their medals and celebrate with pizza and cupcakes.

Send in senior letters!
Our grads cherish this tradition. Make sure letters arrive at school by May 6 for our volunteers to sort and bundle for our seniors. Grads will receive them after graduation practice on the morning of May 25. Follow instructions.

Last Will and Testament
Seniors: Submit your last will and testament or special advice for inclusion in The Sentinel
Parents, family and friends: Send your senior a special note or congratulations through our school newspaper. Email Robin Valentine by April 29.

Art Show at BHS
Thursday, April 28, 6-8:30 p.m. in The Commons. An awards ceremony will be begin at 7 p.m. with a reception following for parents and students. Everyone is welcome to see the artwork and mingle with our artists.
Theatre Performance
* April 28-30, 7 p.m. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Watch as Charlie and his grandfather fly across stage with the help of professional rigging equipment used on Broadway and elsewhere. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.

* Chorus Spring Show
Thursday and Friday, 
May 5 and 6, 7 p.m. in BHS Theater. All five of BHS choruses will perform along with 30 soloists and small groups. The theme: emotions and feelings. Tickets: $5.

Free Festival for Special Needs Children
Run by Chick-fil-A Leader Academy (BOSS)
Saturday, April 30, 12-3 p.m. on the Brookwood practice field. Families with children with special needs of all ages are invited. There will be games and booths adapted for these extraordinary children. Event sponsor, Chick-fil-A, will be selling boxed lunches. See details

Spanish Club
Thursday, April 28, 2:20 p.m. in A26. Celebrate the final meeting of the year eating great food and mimicking La Tomatina with water balloons. Paid members only. Sign up with a Spanish teacher by April 22. Bring a change of clothes; you might get wet.

Key Club is hosting a car wash 4/30 @ the taco bell (on five forks) from 10-2pm 

German Club
