Academics and Administration

No Fooling: April Fools' Day is Friday, April 1, and is a student holiday that leads up to spring break, April 4-8.

Gateway testing for sophomores will take place in school on March 28 and 30 for Science and Social Studies, respectively. See GCPS's Gateway section .

Current 9th-11th Graders 
Underclassmen will receive Course Verification Sheets during Guided Study on Friday, March 25. These pink sheets list the 12 course selections (6 courses per semester) for 2016-2017. Review the sheets carefully. Should you need to request a change, return the sheet with notations by Thursday, March 31, to Room A-11.

STEAM information meeting is April 18.
Do you have a rising junior or senior with a passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and/or math? Are you interested in Brookwood's STEAM program next year? If so, mark your calendars for a student/parent meeting on Monday, April 18, at 7 p.m. in The Commons. Visit our webpage for an overview.

Senior Brianna Isles won the triple jump at the Georgia Coaches Invitational with a final jump of 40 ft. This is Brookwood's new all-time school record, No. 1 in Georgia and No. 7 in the nation. Junior Caitlan Tate was the runner-up in the 100m dash with an awesome time of 12.04.
