A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL FORD

Greetings!

Senior Grace Lynch accepted a cross country scholarship from Georgia College & State University and received the Gwinnett County PTA Scholarship.
A handful of numbers is all I need to illustrate the impact of our students and faculty this year.

8  Our Science Olympiad team won Brookwood's eighth state championship title in nine years.

10  Brookwood faculty earned ten teacher, coach and media specialist of the year awards: Cindy Quinlan, Carrie Settles, Christophe Powers, Greg Pucket (2 awards), Jennifer Maloney, Kelly Swanson, Stephen George, Dru Ulloa and Jan Wilson.

93.3  For the second consecutive year, Brookwood has earned the top College and Career Ready Performance Index among Gwinnett County schools.

162,578.98  Students and staff surpassed last year's $100K Challenge by more than 50 percent donating funds and goods for local and national charities.

1,942,742  Our graduating seniors have been awarded nearly $2M in athletic scholarships. We estimate close to 325 honor graduates will wrap up their high school careers with an average GPA of 90 or higher.

To me, these numbers make Brookwood the No. 1 school in America.

Go Broncos!
