Brookwood Boys Swimming captured its fourth State title this past weekend with a new state record and four All-American times. Our girls earned third place, also with a new state record and five All-American times.

Dual Enrollment Parent Meeting
Monday, Feb. 22, 7 p.m. in The Commons. If your child is interested in dual enrollment for Summer or Fall 2016, please attend. Students must take the SAT or ACT and meet admissions requirements and deadlines. See our Dual Enrollment page for details. Here is a list of dates for easy reference. 

Registration for 2016-17 is Underway!
Students should be registered by Feb. 19 for their core classes, electives and alternate electives. Later this spring, we will send verification sheets home to confirm next year's yearlong courses.

Register for AP Exams by March 8. 
Visit MyPaymentsPlus to pay the one-time, non-refundable $10 registration fee. The first exam is free; each additional exam is $92.

On most Mondays after school in B30, BHS Math Honor Society provides tutoring at all levels.

Maxwell School of Technology to Visit BHS
Feb. 16 during lunch, learn about Career, Technical and Agricultural Education pathways. Open House at Maxwell will be Feb. 25, 5-7 p.m.

Cornerstone Academic is offering free practice tests for the new SAT on March 19 at select county schools. Register online or call (404) 919-7227.

Total Learning Concepts is offering SAT and ACT practice tests on Feb. 23. A $40 fee (refunded as a TLC gift certificate) covers testing, results and a consultation. To reserve a spot, call 770-381-5958 or email tlcaa@bellsouth.net.

Balfour Returns to Collect Senior Fees
Thursday, Feb. 18, in The Commons during lunch, Balfour will collect seniors' $100 grad fees (cash, money order or check to Balfour).

Through Feb. 28, the Shutter Sense Photography Exhibit at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, including photos from 25 BHS students. Pictured right is Cory Enos' first place photography in the category of Informal Portraiture.

Young Men of Brookwood: Man Up Workshop
March 5, 11 a.m., workshop and 3-on-3 tournament open to Brookwood's male student body. Our guest speaker will be Deonte Bridges.  Pick up a registration form in the 9th grade office. The workshop is free, and the basketball game requires a $5 donation to HHH to play.
