Bronco Varsity Wrestling went 4-1 at the Dacula Falcons Duals meet, defeating Newnan, Dacula, Habersham and Marietta.  Three of our boys were undefeated, and Varsity placed second overall.  JV Broncos won their level.
We have 63 Broncos on the roster this year; six are ranked at the state level. Come see them hit the mat!


Academics and Administration

Thanksgiving Break is a full week, Nov. 23-27. Students return to school on Monday, Nov. 30. 

GCPS has released its calendars for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 school years.

Tutoring for AP Stat, Calculus and Other Math 
Our Mu Alpha Theta math honor society offers FREE peer tutoring on Mondays at 2:20 p.m. in B-30. Tutors can help with any math class, any level. 

Dual Enrollment for Summer or Fall 2016 
Take the ACT or SAT to prepare for the colleges' admissions requirements. Score reports may take up to a month. When registering for a test, include your dual enrollment college so that scores are sent directly. See this link for colleges and requirements.

Final Exam Care Packages
Download this order form and return it with payment by Friday, Dec. 11, to reserve a package for your favorite Bronco. First semester: $12. Both semesters: $22.

Band Winter Concerts 
Tuesday, Dec. 1, 6:30 p.m., in The Commons, enjoy our Maroon and Gold Band and Concert Band performances.
Thursday, Dec. 3, 6:30 p.m., in The Commons, listen to our Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Symphonic Winds. 

Theatre Performance - A Christmas Carol
Thursday-Saturday, Dec, 10-12, 7 p.m. in the Theater. 
Opening Night proceeds go the Amanda Riley Foundation. Each night, beginning at 6 p.m., enjoy children's activities for the hour leading up to the show. Photo booth with elves and more, crafts and treats. Tickets $10 at the door, $7 in advance.

Shows and Pageants

December 1-3: 
Pick up an application in The Commons at lunch to be a contestant, escort or emcee. All female students, 9th-12th grade, may apply be a contestant. Escorts must be senior male students; emcees must be seniors. Submit applications by Dec. 3. Visit the PTSA website for details. The pageant is Jan. 30.

BHS Talent Show Auditions are Dec. 2 and 3.
Auditions will be held after school the Wednesday and Thursday we return from Thanksgiving break. Sign up in the Media Center for an audition slot. The show is Jan. 15, sponsored by Pegasus, our literary magazine.

Sign up for the Mr. Brookwood Pageant.
Only senior boys may register. Sign up outside of the Dance Room D6 and see Ms. Ellen for details. The Mr. Brookwood event is Feb. 5.
