School will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend.

Underclassmen picture retakes will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Register for the PSAT for your freshman or junior by Oct. 1 via MyPaymentsPlus for $15. Sophomores are automatically registered at no charge. The PSAT test will be given during school on Oct. 14. 

Open House: It's fast-moving and informative.
Monday, Sept. 14, 6:45 p.m. Beginning with a PTSA meeting in The Commons, the evening gives parents a chance to walk their students' schedules, stopping at each classroom to quickly meet teachers and hear 8-minute course overviews.

We urge seniors and their parents to take advantage of some of the scholarships and resources updated frequently in our Senior Bulletin.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test will be given Thursday, Sept. 24, in the Theater during periods 1-4.

College Financial Aid Information Meeting
Monday, Sept. 24, 7 pm. in the Media Center. Topics include FAFSA, scholarships and more financial aid.

Lacrosse Pre-Season Parent Meeting
Thursday, Sept. 10, 6 p.m. in the Media Center. Parents of boys or girls interested in trying out for spring lacrosse will receive important pre-season information.

Dive Team Information Meeting
Sept. 15, 7 p.m. in The Commons. Meeting for all interested in being a diver for the BHS Swim & Dive team. Current physical is required. See Coach Heberling in F27 for more information.

Volleyball Academy for Grades 6-8

Have 3.0 cumulative GPA? An 88 overall science average? Love science? Want to go on fun field trips? Join SNHS. Submit an application to Dr. Diaz (A112) or Coach Chvatal (F10) by Friday, Sept. 11.

Interact Club
Sunday, Sept. 20, 1 p.m. at Mountain Park Aquatic Center is the Gwinnett Duck Derby, a fun fundraiser supporting our club sponsor, Rotary Club of South Gwinnett.
