BHS Spring Carnival, Saturday, April 18, 5-9 p.m.

Have a blast with the Velcro wall, mechanical bull, magician act, dunk tank, face paint, "Wipe Out" and more. Entry fee is $5, and an all-access wristband is $10. We will also sell $5 meal combos and cotton candy and popcorn for $1 each.  Location: Gold Gym and Maroon Gym. All proceeds benefit Relay for Life and other charities. Going to the Prom?
Reserve a tux in time. If you rent form Men's Warehouse, a portion of the price goes to Brookwood Athletics. Proceeds from our $5 coat check go to Relay for Life.

Senior Letters Project  - Volunteer Call

There are several ways to help:

  • Collect and deliver envelopes to our school from each of the cluster schools' collection boxes.
  • Alphabetize and file letters on any of these dates on site after school: 4/23 4/27 4/30 5/4 5/6 5/7 5/8. We also welcome help during school hours; please arrange directly with Donna Gomez donna_gomez@gwinnett.k12.ga.us.
  • Assist with a special counting task on May 7.

BHS Orchestra gets "Uptown Funk" 
April 23, 6 p.m. in The Commons, performances by our Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras. After each group plays its program, it will be joined by Mr. Reesman and Velvet Runway to play Uptown Funk.  

Musical Theater - An anticipated sell out!
April 22, 23 and 24 at 7 p.m., High School Musical performed in the Brookwood Theater. Principal Bo Ford and Language Arts teacher Mr. Dana Kling are among the fine cast. Tickets: $10 at the door, $7 in advance. Reserved seating. Advanced purchase advised.

VEX World Championship

April 15-18, VEX Robotics World Championship is being held in Louisville, KY, and Brookwood is competing this year with two robots and 15 Broncos. This is Brookwood's fifth year in a row to qualify at at World.
