A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL FORD

Greetings!

Welcome back from spring break.

By this time every year, our 12th Grade Office has collected a long list of seniors and their college choices to display on our College-Bound wall in B-Hall. The list is ever-growing, and whenever I walk by it, I am happy to spot new names. More than a billboard to celebrate college-bound Broncos, the display is a reminder that Brookwood is a launching pad to new horizons.  For the next several weeks leading up to graduation, our faculty will do its part to help keep spring fever at bay so that our seniors continue their academics and activities with the same spirit and commitment that brought them this far. If their overall track record is an indication of how they will handle the final sprint, then I think we are in for a good run through May.

Our underclassmen are not far behind. This month, they will finalize their fall courses and take on more leadership roles. Many, including the six sophomores and juniors selected for the Governor Honors Program, are carrying on the tradition of excellence that defines Brookwood.  For that, we are grateful and also inspired to explore even more ways to enrich their experiences here.

As always, thank you for your support of Brookwood High School, and enjoy the spring season.

Go Broncos!

William Bo Ford, Jr.
