Brookwood's Ultimate Frisbee team will host its first invitational at the Brookwood Stadium on Sunday, March 22, to
benefit Relay For Life. The daylong event will feature a professional showcase by Atlanta Hustle and a high school round robin with teams from Brookwood, Parkview, Northview and Paideia.  Tickets are $5 and the gates open at 1:30 p.m.

Graduation Announcements and Letters

The deadline to order graduation announcements is Sunday, March 22 at midnight. Order directly through the Balfour website. Also, Brookwood traditionally delivers letters to seniors during graduation practice. Learn more about how to submit letters to seniors, April 13 to May 6.

 

Seniors with Perfect Attendance

If you think your attendance record is flawless, from Kindergarten through 12th grade or from 9th through 12th, add your name and student number to the sign-up sheet in the Attendance Office (C-1) during lunch or before school. Choose only one column, either

K-12 or 9-12. The deadline is April 15. 

 

Parents of 10th Graders

Is your sophomore passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Fine Arts and considering a career in one of these areas? Learn about our STEAM Program. Applications are due by March 25.  

 

Parents of 8th Graders

March 23, 6:30-8 p.m., Brookwood will showcase its many teams, clubs and organizations to rising freshmen and their parents. Come learn about our after-school fun.

 

Free After-School Tutoring is Still Available

Urge your students to stop by for help in one or more subjects, Monday through Thursday, 2:25-3:25 p.m. in Room B35. Beta Club students are on hand to assist.

Showcase Your Creativity

Pegasus, Brookwood's award-winning literary magazine, is currently accepting students' poetry, short stories, photography and other artwork for consideration in this year's issue.

BRAT Week at Brookwood is March 23-27

Check the schedule for three fun dress-up days created to help promote Anti Alcohol and Drug Awareness, sponsored by our SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and combined with Guided Study discussions and lunchtime activities during BRAT Week.

 

Taste of Brookwood 

March 28, 5-8 p.m.

Area restaurants, vendors will fill The Commons. Jazz performances and a silent auction. Each $12 tickets = 5 tastes of food, drink and dessert.

Gwinnett Life Run

March 21, 8 a.m. The 1 Mile, 5K and 10K race will begin and end at Brookwood High School. Registration required.

 

Brookwood Volleyball Academy

Introduction to the sport for kids, 4th to 8th grade. Boys are welcome too.  April 14 - May 14, Tuesdays and Thursdays. See the website for more details.

FLBA Georgia State Leadership Conference

March 20 at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta.

 

Science Olympiad State Championship

March 21 at Emory University. Brookwood has won the state title for the past four years. Do it again, Broncos!

 

Academic Team State Championship

March 21 at Collins Hill. Brookwood competes in the Georgia Academic Team Association (GATA) Varsity State Championship Quiz Bowl.

 

Outdoors Club

March 20-21, Caving & Camping at Petty John's Cave. Cost is $10.

April 14, Treetop Quest Ziplining. Pay the $25 fee on MyPaymentsPlus and submit forms to Ms. Settles in C12.
