Academics
Maria Peifer of Delta Community Credit Union presented Principal Bo Ford and Ms. Quinlan with a $1000 donation to the Brookwood Entrepreneurship Academy. 

Free SAT or ACT Practice Tests 

Two local companies are offering free full-length practice test assessments. On Thursday, Feb. 12, 5-8:30 p.m., Total Learning Concepts in Lilburn will hold a session at Brookwood and provide a detailed printed score report. Call for a reservation. On Feb. 16 at 11 a.m., C2 Education Snellville will hold a session at its location. Click the above links for more information.

Need help with a class or two? After-school tutoring

offered by our Beta Club is available Mondays through Thursdays, 2:25-3:25 p.m. in Room B35. Drop by for any amount of time for help.

Interested in military enlistment? Explore ASVAB.

On Monday, Feb. 9, periods 1-4 in the Theater, BHS will offer any interested juniors the chance to take ASVAB, the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, a multiple choice test used to determine qualification for enlistment in the U.S. military. Sign up in the Counseling Office.  

 

Graduation Cap & Gown -- Balfour is returning!

Seniors will have the chance to pay their $100 dues in cash or with a check directly to Balfour on Feb. 19 in The Commons during lunch. Otherwise, dues are $105 via Balfour.com. On April 1, dues increase to $125.

 

Grayson Technical Education Program Open House

Tuesday, Feb. 17, 6:30-8 p.m. Rising juniors and seniors are now eligible to apply for next year. Learn more about the program here.

Seniors who have accepted a college offer should add their information to the clip board in the 11th/12th grade office, Room A36, to ensure recognition on the wall display.

 

Seniors: Gwinnett Braves Job Shadow Program

The Gwinnett Braves will sponsor four BHS seniors to participate in its Job Shadow Program on March 20. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. The deadline is Feb. 23.
