During the winter break, our Lady Bronco swimmers won the team championship at the
Madeline J. Brown Invitational at Emory University. Thus far this season, they remain undefeated!

Academics

January 16 is the 100th day of school.

Peer Leader applications are now being accepted from current 10th and 11th grade students. Obtain one online here or from Room A1. Completed applications are due Jan. 21; teacher recommendations must be in by Jan. 23.

Brookwood's $100K Challenge is off to a great first half of the school year with more than $46,000 raised for charity. With continued success and enthusiasm, we're certain to reach our goal by the end of May!

Interested in dual enrollment? Attend the parent meeting, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Media Center.

Seniors who have been accepted to a college that they plan to attend should add the information to the clip board in the 11th/12th grade office, Room A36, to ensure they will be included in the "College Bound Broncos" display in B Hall.

Senior dues, cap and gown: Seniors may pay graduation fees online at any time at Balfour.com; the cost will increase in April and includes a $5 processing fee. Otherwise, students may pay the $100 cost in person during lunch (boys on Thursday, Jan. 22, and girls on Friday, Jan. 23). Order early to secure a gown with a BHS emblem.

Brookwood Talent Show.

Friday, Jan. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Theater. Be entertained and partake in the voting process at this typically sold-out fundraiser for Pegasus, Brookwood's award-winning literary arts magazine. Tickets are $8 and will be sold in advance during school lunches beginning Jan. 13 (and also at the door, if tickets are still available).
