Our Brookwood Math Team competed against 35 teams at the Lassiter Math Competition and won 2nd place. Individual winners from Brookwood were Ryan Chen, 4th, and Tony Zeng, 7th, out of 160 students.

Results from this year's October 15th PSAT test have been distributed to students during 3rd period class. All students who took the exam should have their results; if they do not, please contact their 3rd period teacher.

Air Force Academy Candidate Orientation Program

"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"

December 12 and 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Brookwood Theater. After the show, enjoy mingling with the elves, pictures with actors, ornament making and candy canes. Adult tickets: $10; children under age 12: $5.

"All About That Bass"

Bassist Cody LaVallee earned the only spot open for bass in the All-State Jazz Ensemble. This is Cody's second year holding the bass chair and the third that a Brookwood student has held it.

Redistricting: A second opportunity for the community to provide public comments on proposed redistricting plans will take place on December 18, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. This meeting will take place at the Instructional Support Center in Suwanee prior to the monthly School Board meeting.

Powder Puff Football Game

Saturday, December 13, 11:00 a.m. @ Brookwood Stadium. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5. All proceeds will benefit Brookwood's Helping Hands and Hearts (HHH). Come support the girls and a good cause!

"Hour of Code" for Youngsters

On December 12, Brookwood High School will offer Hour of Code sessions in The Commons to introduce young students to computer science. Visitors will also have access to BHS computer labs for tutorials.
