Congratulations to the Brookwood varsity wrestling team for winning the Dacula Falcons Chick-fil-A Duals Championship for the fourth year in a row. Our JV team also won last weekend. Nice job, boys!

Have you heard about the Brookwood Cluster STEAM Program? Here are a video and outline of the new educational initiative.  If you or your business would like to become a STEAM Educational Partner, this flyer is a great way to get started.

The 27th Annual Brookwood Invitational Scholars Bowl is one of the largest academic tournaments in the Southeast and will take place at our school, Saturday, November 22, hosted by our very own Brookwood Academic Team. 

GA Tech's Students Exploring Engineering Program for 9th and 10th grade girls is January 29. A $25 fee covers materials and meals. Register here or see Mrs. Varzaly in Counseling.

Fine Arts

Band Winter Concerts 

December 2, 7:00 p.m. in The Commons. This concert begins with the Crews and Five Forks 8th grade bands, followed by BHS's Maroon and Gold Band, Percussion Ensemble and Concert Band.

December 4, 6:30 p.m. in The Commons. This night features BHS's Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Combo,  Maroon Jazz Band, Gold Jazz Band and Symphonic Winds.

 

Orchestra Concert

December 11, 6:00 p.m. in The Commons is our Philharmonic Orchestra's Annual Side-by-Side concert, featuring 8th grade members from Crews and Five Forks Middle School Orchestras.

 

 

Theater Performance

December 11, 12 and 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Theater is "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," a show for the entire family, followed by activities, goodies, and photos with elves and the cast. Tickets for children under age 12 are $5. Adult tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.

Connect to Brookwood 

 

Initial figures indicate that Brookwood raised $14,540 for Helping Hands and Hearts during HHH Week, and donations are still coming our way.  To date, BHS has raised $41,302 through clubs and events, nearly half way to our $100K challenge for the 2014-2015 school year.
