 The Brookwood Boys Cross Country team placed 2nd at State, and all seven varsity boys made All-County.

Brookwood Science Olympiad won 30 out of 63 medals at the East Coweta invitational, and 10 of those medals were for 1st place!

Fine Arts

Orchestra
November 20, Holiday Concert in The Commons. 5:30 p.m. Strings and Maroon and Gold Orchestras 6:30 p.m. Symphonic Strings and Symphony Orchestra   Admission is $5 per family; no fee for teachers. 

Tony Zang and Evan Butterworth competed in the National Honors Performance Series.  As a winning viola player, Tony will now perform at Carnegie Hall in February.  Evan is a 1st runner-up for bass.

Connect to Brookwood 

Miss Brookwood Applications for candidates, escorts and emcees are available online and in The Commons during lunches, November 18-21.  All applications and fees are due November 21 at lunch. 

HHH Week continues through Wednesday with fund-raising activities to benefit Helping Hearts and Hands, our school's organization that assists those in our community who are in need.  Look forward to Monday's Hat Day, Tuesday's bake sale, and $1 waffles Wednesday morning from Waffle House.  (The elves are an HHH tradition!)

 

 

HHH Powder Puff  forms are available outside of C16 and are due, along with a completed physical form and fee, on November 14.  The game will be Saturday, December 13, 11:00 a.m -1:00 p.m. in the Brookwood Stadium.  Tickets will be $5 at the gate.

 

Clubs 

 

The Sentinel has published its first issue of the year.   Pick up your copy in The Commons or outside of E9. 

 

Fencing Club will host its first on-site tournament at Brookwood, November 15 and 16, both days 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  


BEST Club will have its annual Thanksgiving dinner on November 18, 6:00-7:30 in The Commons.  Pick up a flyer at E4 outside of Room E4 and RSVP to bhsbestclub@gmail.com.

 

The International Club will celebrate all things Italian on November 19 in T-5, 2:20-3:30 p.m.
