Brookwood Community School offers a 6-class SAT Prep series for $94, October 20 - November 5, Mondays and Wednesdays on campus after school. Additionally, the BHS Media Center offers free videos October 28-30 and November 3-6.  Learn more about these and other classes.

Homecoming Parade is still on! 

Friday, 4:30 p.m. See the Homecoming Court, our marching band and lots of floats representing Brookwood clubs. We'll toss candy to spectators, and National Honor Society students will collect donations for United Way all along the parade route. See the parade route map for specifics. Afterward, join us at the band concession stand by the field to buy a bite to eat: Chick-fil-A, Buck's pizza, burgers, and more.

Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Home against Shiloh. 

 

Homecoming Dance 

8:00 - 11:30 p.m. at BHS in The Commons. See the Homecoming flyer for information about ticket requirements and dress code. Coat check serves a dual purpose, since all proceeds to to Helping Hands and Hearts ($1/item or $5/bagful). 

 

Drivers Education

The next Drivers Education session offered through the Brookwood Community School begins November 12.  See information online and register at the Community School Office.

Marching Band

October 18 at Haralson High School's Golden River Invitational in Tallapoosa, GA

At our band's first competition of the year, it received superior ratings in all captions: Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion and Overall Band.  

Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra

Friday, October 10, 

6:45 - 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Music Foundation's "Hall of Fame" at 200 Peachtree Street. Brookwood is the only student group invited to the event and will perform by the red carpet as music producers and celebrities enter the venue.
