PSAT Registration Deadline is October 1. 

All 10th graders will take the test free of charge; no registration necessary,  while 9th and 11th graders who would like to take the test must pay $15 at MyPaymentsPlus.com by October 1. 


To prepare for the November 8 SAT, Brookwood Community School is offering a 6-class series with teacher instruction for $94, October 20 - November 5, Mondays and Wednesdays on campus after school. The Media Center offers free videos October 28-30 and November 3-6. Learn more about these and other classes offered in the area.

Homecoming Parade 

Friday, 4:30 p.m. The first time the public will see the new face of Buster (Brookwood's mascot). Parade lineup of floats starts in the parking lot along Hollybrook Road, close to the football field. Throughout the parade route, National Honor Society students will be collecting change for United Way, so bring spare cash to donate. Proceeds will benefit United Way and BHS.

 

Homecoming Football Game

Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Home against Shiloh. Tickets will be sold Thursday and Friday at school during lunch. Student ticket: $5, Adult: $7. All tickets at the gate are $7.

 

Homecoming Dance 

8:00 - 11:30 p.m. at BHS in The Commons. Advance tickets required; refer to the online Homecoming flyer for dress code and other information. Take advantage of the coat check; it's a fundraiser for Helping Hands and Hearts ($1/item or $5 to fill a grocery bag).

Dance
September 30, 2:30 p.m. in D-4 (Dance Room) Yoga kicks off the Dance Department's 9-part series, Fitness Tuesday, held the last Tuesday of each month with a different dance style each time. Students and faculty are invited. $2/class or $15/series. 

October 2, 7:00 p.m., Mr. Brookwood Pageant. 25 BHS boys put on a must-see show produced by the Dance Department. Admission $10.
