10th Grade Students will take the PSAT during school on October 15 free of charge; no registration necessary.  All 9th and 11th graders who would like to take the test should visit MyPaymentsPlus by October 1 to pay a $15 fee. 

SAT/ACT Preparation Classes are listed in the Student Resources section of our website.  Classes include free video sessions in the Media Center, and fee-based classes offered through BHS Community School or local businesses. See the entire list. To receive a $5 discount for Community School classes, register 7 days in advance in Room A3.

SGA hosts Movie Night, Friday, September 5, at 7:30 p.m. in The Commons. Tickets cost $5, and all proceeds will go to the Southeast Gwinnett Co-op Ministry. Join us for a fun night and a great cause!

Senior Portraits Makeup Day with Magic Moment Photography is September 9, 2:00-6:00 p.m. in the Maroon Gym Lobby.

Open House & PTSA Meeting, September 8, 6:45 p.m.  Walk your student's schedule, meet your student's teachers, and sit through individual course presentations. 

 

Discover Duke University is September 10, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in The Commons. A Duke admissions officer will present information about the university, the admissions process, financial aid and more. Register online.  

 

PROBE College Fairs: Take this opportunity to visit with several college representatives under one roof, on September 17, 6:00-8:30 p.m., at the Gwinnett Civic Center. Throughout September and October, more than 100 college representatives will attend seven PROBE College Fairs in the area.  See the Senior Bulletin for the full listing of dates and locations.

Fall into Harmony with the Choral Department

September 30, 7:00 p.m. in the Theater, is BHS's first Chorus concert of the year.  "Fall Into Harmony" will feature selections by past and present American composers.

It's all smiles preparing for this year's first concert at the end of September.
