Prom is Saturday, April 26, 8:00-11:30 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium in the Oceans Ballroom, located on the 1st level of the parking deck. If parking at the aquarium, take the elevator to level one & follow the signs. The ballroom also has an entrance located on Ivan Allen Boulevard, accessible through the Ivan Allen Blvd. parking deck entrance. Students & dates must be on the "paid" list & have a student or a photo ID.  Prom photo order form. As we head towards the end of the school year, students should return borrowed library books & take care of meal balances. No meals may be charged to negative lunch accounts after May 2.  All library books are due May 5. Check the parent portal for more information.

 

If your student has misplaced a textbook, he/she can pay for it in any grade level office. Payment can be made with cash (exact change) or money order. If your book is found, your money will be refunded. Your student may see Ms. Bifaro in F24 with questions.

 

Invitations have been sent for those participating in Senior Awards Night, May 5, 7:00 p.m. at Cannon United Methodist Church. If your student believes he/she is an Honor grad (90%+ GPA) & did not receive an invitation, have him/her stop by the Counseling Office (A1).

 

Has your senior made a decision about college yet? He/she can have his/her name added to the "College Bound Bronco Wall" by visiting Ms. Campbell in A36.

During Senior Week, April 28-May 2, our soon-to-be-graduates will dress according to fun themes. The week ends with a picnic on the football field May 2 during 5th-7th periods. Monday - College Day; Tuesday - I don't wanna grow up day; Wednesday - Dream Job/Career Day; Thursday - Senior Royalty Day; Friday - Hawaiian Day.

(corner of Five Forks & Tom Smith Rd. in the Publix Shopping Center in Lilburn) will be donating 20% of all sales to the Science Olympiad Team. This is valid for eating there, delivery or carry out. Just specify that it is for the Brookwood Science Olympiad Team. Proceeds will be used to help send our team to the National Tournament at the University of Central Florida.

 

Parents of the BHS Class of 2014: Senior letters are being collected now through May 9. Get family & friends to write at least one letter of encouragement for your senior as part of this project. We want to make sure every senior has a letter. More information about Senior Letters.

 

Project Graduation is the all night graduation party held at Dave & Buster's at Sugarloaf Mills. This fun-filled night includes unlimited video games, bowling, a DJ & karaoke, pool tables, a $40 power card & an all night buffet!
