FBI Special Agent Keith Kabrhel is coming to school to speak March 24 to freshman during the school day. Agent Kabrhel's specialty is crimes against children on the internet. His speech will cover the criminal and legal aspects of posting something on social media that students might regret, plus the long-term effects for employment, college and more. He will offer tips for protecting students. From 6:30-7:30 p.m. March 24 in the Commons, Brookwood will host a community session with Agent Kabrhel. We hope you will make plans to attend this timely, relevant event.

Information about the Senior Letter Project for parents of graduating seniors.

Students interested in parking on-campus next year must attend a class where rules & safety will be reviewed. The cost for the class is $15 (paid by check to BHS).  Classes will be held April 2 @ 2:30 p.m. in the Theater, April 28 @ 2:30 p.m. in the Commons, May 9 @ 2:30 p.m. in the Theater & May 13 @ 2:30 p.m. in the Theater. The Student Job Fair is March 17 at 7:00 p.m. Students will meet local employers who will have a table at the event, plus professionals will be available to talk to students about resume writing & interviewing skills. Students in attendance will be entered into a drawing for prizes. Companies that are confirmed are: Kroger, Publix, Five Below, Dress Up, Positively Pools, Gwinnett Parks and Recreation (Aquatic), Sears Pool Lifeguards, American Pool, NatureScapes Landscape, Stone Mountain, Kumon Tutoring, Music and Atrs, Wayne's Environmental Services, Chick Fil A, All Seasons Car Wash, Race Trac, Lowes, Home Depot & JoAnnes. 

Four upcoming Brookwood Relay for Life fundraisers.  First, Painting with a Twist in Lawrenceville is hosting a BHS Relay for Life fundraiser on March 20. Book your seat online. Second, March 24-31, when you order your tickets online to Medieval Times, $3 goes to our team. Put Brookwood High School in the Address 2 line. Third, April 13, when you order tickets online to the Gwinnett Braves, put Brookwood High School in the 3rd box at the bottom of the order form. Fourth, sponsor a luminaria at the Relay for Life event May 9-10 at Gwinnett Fairgrounds to honor someone who has battled cancer.  Search for Brookwood High School at this link.

Taste of Brookwood, March 29, 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Commons.  The event features great food from over 20 local restaurants, plus live music & a silent auction.  $12 tickets on sale now from band members or online.
